There are great products out there that you can use to brighten your skin and lighten your sun spots and melasma.
On one of my posts, search for Sun Spots be gone, I talk about the Fraxel Laser which does really remove the spots and firm your skin.
But if you don’t have the time or would like to maintain your skin brighter after the laser or simply try a product before doing a laser, I have some really good ones to indicate to you.
I used the Lytera by Skin Medica, I bought at my doctor’s office, it was recommended by her and it does work really good even thought is a bit pricy, the tube is big and a little goes a long way, also I did not experienced any redness with this cream.
The Neostrata HQ Skin Lightening Gel is the one my sister’s doctor recommended for her in Brazil, she sent me her before and after pics, see below, and the results are great!
She is really happy about it, her face is a little red after the 2 weeks use, but in my own experience that’s pretty reasonable and subsides once you stop using it everyday , also she told me that she started applying a hydroquinone cream this week which it does sometimes irritates the skin so I would not recommend using pure hydroquinone cream on sensitive skin, just stick to using the Neostrata gel by itself.
Another wonderful product that I start using is the La Roche Posay Mela-D deep cleansing brightening foaming cream, I used a lot of liquid soaps on my face before and I will talk about all of them on a later post, but this one not only brightens your skin, it’s creamier consistency make it easier to apply and not run into your eyes, you should try this one for sure. I use it twice a day on my face, in the morning and before bedtime, you can truly feel your skin squeaky clean!!!
You can find the La Roche Posey products at Ulta or search it online, the Neostrata products I only found it online not in stores and the Lytera on some doctors office and online.
